Baker University names finalists for new executive position

Baker University has identified four higher education leaders as finalists for its new position of executive vice president for academic affairs and dean of its College of Arts and Sciences.

A Baker spokesman identified the four finalists: Jeff Breese, dean of the School of Graduate and Professional Studies at Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Mo.; Gary Johnson, dean of the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Findlay in Findlay, Ohio; Trevor Morris, dean of the School of Natural and Social Sciences at Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth; and Brian Posler, associate provost for academic affairs at the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville.

The spokesman said more than 60 people applied for the position.

The last finalist was visiting the campus Monday, and a decision on the position is expected by early March.
