A 33-year-old Ottawa man, Duane Francis Brannan, faces 25 years to life in prison after he entered a plea this week to aggravated criminal sodomy of a girl who was 6 years old at the time the abuse started. Franklin County Attorney Heather Jones said the abuse in Ottawa lasted more than a year. Brannan was charged in 2011.
