To the editor:
Yet again, month after month, more regular than rain, Scott Burkhart trots out his one-trick pony. This time, he has gone too far. To exploit the horrific tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School to promote his theology is inexcusable. His lack of compassion for the living is appalling. If and when he can become pregnant himself, he can then tell the world what he believes. Until such time, I would ask him, “At long last, sir, have you no shame?”

"Amen," so to speak.

The short answer is "NO". He, along with Fred Phelps, Terry Jones and others are members of the right wing Christian Taliban that distorts religion.

What brand of theology is Mr. Burkhart promoting or distorting in his letter. I went back and reread the letter and all I see is him pointing out the hypocrisy of our society in how we value one group of children over another. It would seem the only distortion of religion that has occurred is when the president, through his actions and voting record, implies that Jesus only wants the children that have been born.

Yeah, like your standards have been challenged. Now that's funny
