What is the bridge on Stull Road (or 45th Street in Shawnee County) west of the Shawnee/Douglas county line? Is a new highway going to be built there?
The bridge on the road, commonly known as Stull Road, is a private bridge used by Mid-State Materials. The bridge provides the company with access to its property without using the highway. The road is named 45th Street on the Shawnee County side and County Road 442 on the Douglas County side. A new highway is not in progress in this area, Keith Browning, Douglas County public works director, said.
