Kansas City, Kan. ? Police in Kansas City, Kan., are investigating the discovery of a dead body inside a burned car.

Officers on a routine patrol late Saturday saw a car burning and found the body inside after firefighters extinguished the blaze.

Police are investigating the circumstances around the death and say the victim’s identity is being withheld while relatives are notified.
