Beth Wilson, a 6-foot softball pitcher from Heartland Community College in Normal, Ill., plans to transfer next season to Kansas University.
A native of Canton, Ill., the right-hander struck out 232 batters in 192 2/3 innings and had a 1.96 earned-run average as a freshman last season. She was 27-7, with 54 earned runs and 88 walks.
