Health dept. offices to be closed for training

The Lawrence-Douglas County Health Department’s offices and clinic will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Dec. 26.

The staff will be training for the implementation of Netsmart Technologies’ Insight system, a new electronic medical record system, in January. The Health Department plans to begin using the new system Jan. 2.
