Two Lawrence Raiders baseball players were awarded scholarships at the team’s banquet.
Lawrence High graduate CJ Roush received the Al and Tony Ice Memorial Scholarship for “good citizenship, high character and teamwork.”
The Carl Heinrich Memorial Scholarship went to Free State graduate JD Prochaska for “leadership, hustle and work for the benefit of the team.”
The Raiders voted Aaron Gile the team MVP.
