Kansas track wins 14 titles

— Kansas University’s Andrea Geubelle leaped to the NCAA’s best triple-jump mark — 44 feet, 51⁄2 inches — at the Bill Williams/Bob Laptad Invitational on Friday as 11 Jayhawks and three relay teams claimed titles.

KU’s other winners Friday: Eric Dyson, men’s 3,000 steeplechase, 9:28.75; Paris Daniels, women’s 400, 55.39; Diamond Dixon, women’s 100, 11.34, and women’s 200, 23.13; Maddy Rich, women’s 800; 2:19.18; Timmie Morris, women’s 400 hudles, 1:04.42; Michael Stigler, men’s 400 hurdles, 53.05; Ragan Allen, women’s 1,500, 4:52.64; Evan Landes, men’s 5,000, 14:56.63; Demi Payne, women’s pole vault (tie), 13-91⁄4; and Jonathan Fuller, men’s high jump, 6-111⁄2.
