Douglas County Sheriff’s officers were still working to identify a man whose body was found Tuesday morning near railroad tracks north of Lawrence.

Sgt. Steve Lewis, a sheriff’s spokesman, said Thursday investigators were also working with Union Pacific Railroad officials to try to determine possibly when the man was struck by a train. Lewis said investigators currently do not suspect foul play.
