Kansas men’s golf tied for 9th

— Chris Gilbert and Dylan McClure each fired rounds of 66 at Talking Stick Golf Club on Monday to lead Kansas University’s men’s golf to a ninth-place standing with a score of 561 after 36 holes of the 23-team Cowboy Classic.

Gilbert followed up with a second-round 70 for a two-round total of 136, good for an eighth-place tie.

Other KU scores: McClure, tied for 20th, 72-66—138; David Aver, tied for 70th, 74-70—144; Doug Quinones, tied for 77th, 70-75—145; and Alex Gutesha, tied for 102nd, 72-76—148.

The final round is today.

The paper forgot to mention that the K-State mens golf team is tied for first in this tournament at -15 after 36 holes!!!!!
