Two people were cited Saturday evening for throwing water balloons at cars in the area of 14th and Tennessee streets after they ran from Lawrence police about 6:20 p.m., said Sgt. Trent, McKinley, a Lawrence police spokesman. McKinley said officers cited the two suspects in the 1300 block of Tennessee Street after officers received a report of college kids throwing water balloons at cars in the area.
