— Olathe Northwest’s baseball team broke open a close game with 11 runs in the final two innings and defeated Free State, 13-3, on Thursday night.

“In the fourth, we were down 2-0, and they got a two-out grand slam from the nine-hole,” FSHS coach Mike Hill said. “Things just got away from us. There are still positives. The kids are giving a great effort.”

J.D. Prochaska doubled, and Joel Spain and Ryan Cantrell each drove in a run for Free State (1-6).

The Firebirds will take on Shawnee Mission West on Tuesday in Overland Park.

Don't think the Free State AD is going to fire himself.

FTGuy... you need help. I hope your behavior on here doesn't exemplify the core values you have taught your son. You're trying to tell us, from previous comments by you, that your son passed the level he needed to be at in order to play varsity baseball at Free State when he was 10 years old?! Now I don't know much about the Free State varsity baseball program but I'm pretty sure I would have heard of this Wonder Kid of yours if he's as good as you claim he is. So if he used to go to Free State and was better than their current Varsity players when he was 10.... What D1 school or major league program is he playing for now?

In other words shaddup already, you're beginning to sound like a cyber stalker. If things were that bad for you and your son when he was at Free State, what exactly did you do about it when you had the chance to influence "change"?
