Kansas men’s golf places eighth

Kannapolis, N.C. — The Kansas men’s golf team finished in eighth place out of 10 teams on the final day of the Irish Creek Collegiate on Sunday.

KU golfer Doug Quinones carded a third-round 74 to end in 20th place.

The Jayhawks will compete in the Cowboy Classic on April 9 in Scottsdale, Ariz.
