Our weather report and temperature at the top of the LJWorld.com page are offline after the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration weather service made changes to its feed that didn't go as planned.

We are working with the NOAA, which serves media outlets nationwide, to get the problem fixed.

Thanks, I wondered you stole the weather page.

There are a lot of things at NOAA that aren't going as planned.
Isn't software fun? Aren't computers great? Isn't the new world of modeling and computer record-keeping wonderful? Except when it is wrong. And how do we know when it is wrong? Well, when it doesn't interface to your software like it used to do. And what if the numbers are off by 1.36 degrees?

Couldn't happen.....it is computer run.

I don't care so much if NOAA has a minor, short-run problem getting their weather reports & temps out to the media so long as the Nation Hurricane Center continues to be damn near dead on on their hurricane track and intensity predictions. Impressive indeed.
