Nick Bennett passed for 152 yards and accounted for five touchdowns, and Veritas Christian remained undefeated with a 54-8 football rout of Central Christian on Friday night.

Bennett passed for four scores and ran for another for the Eagles, who improved to 4-0.

“We spread the ball around a ton,” Veritas coach Doug Bennett said. “Everyone had lots of playing time. It was a great overall team effort.”

Andrew Harvey caught three passes for 80 yards and two scores for Veritas. Caleb Holland also had two TD receptions.

Veritas will take on St. John’s Military School next Friday in Salina.
