3 computers reported stolen from Walmart

A Walmart employee reported that someone stole three Hewlett Packard touch-screen desktop computer systems from the store, 3300 Iowa, between Aug. 26 and Sept. 13, according to a Lawrence police report. The computers were valued at $848 each, meaning the total loss was $2,544.

What kind of security system does that store have! None?

Everytime some one shoplifts from a store, the price increases for those of us who actually pay for goods. It's not like these people are the poor and elderly shoplifting a can of tuna so they can eat; tv's and computers are not necessities of life.

And what ticks me off about it is I go in there an PAY for my items and go out and the dang alarms go off and they have search all my bags for the one item .. usually a CD or DVD ... ggrrr ... how do you get out with a TV or computer?!?!?!?!?!
