For the second straight week, Kansas University soccer freshman Ingrid Vidal was named the Big 12 Conference Newcomer of the Week. The announcement came Tuesday.

Vidal collected two goals and two assists for a team-high six points in two victories last weekend (against Missouri State and South Dakota State) to help KU extend a five-match winning streak. Vidal is tied for the conference lead with 11 points this season.
