A 48-year-old Meriden woman died today in a two-vehicle accident on Kansas Highway 92 , just east of Oskaloosa.

Kimberly Kreipe was a passenger on a 1973 Harley Davidson motorcycle, which crashed shortly before noon. It was being driven by 58-year-old Oskaloosa man when it ran into the back of a GMC pickup truck, which was stopped in the lane of traffic, waiting to turn.

The driver of the Harley Davidson motorcycle was taken to Stormont Vail Regional Health Center in Topeka and is listed in serious condition. He was reportedly not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The driver of the GMC truck suffered no injuries.
