HASTINGS, NEB. ? Baker University’s fifth-ranked men’s soccer team upended top-ranked Hastings College, 1-0 in overtime, on Tuesday, ending the Broncos’ NAIA-record 39-game winning streak.

Tom Lowndes scored in the 92nd minute off an assist from Nick Aquilar.

Hastings hadn’t lost since Nov. 12, 2009, against Midland Lutheran College.

Baker (12-1 overall) will host Benedictine at 8 p.m. Saturday.
