Lexington, Ky. ? Kansas University juniors Victoria Khanevskaya and Monica Pezzotti both took third place in their respective singles draws Sunday on the third and final day of the Kentucky Invitational. KU went 2-4 during the final round of singles competition.

Khanevskaya, a junior from Moscow, Russia, defeated Cleveland State’s Mengdi Liu, 6-3, 6-1, to take third in Singles Draw F. Pezzotti, a junior from Cucuta, Colombia, beat Alexis Garrett from Morehead State, 6-4, ret., to place third in Singles Draw E.
