The 60th Annual Bromelsick Christmas Party will be from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Friday at the Lawrence Indoor Aquatic Center, 4706 Overland Drive. The party this year will be a swimming party and will also include music, a visit from Santa and a treat. All registered members of 4-H, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts in Douglas County are invited. Children must be accompanied by their parent or their troop, den or group leader meeting their organization’s requirements for adult-child ratio. The annual meeting for Lawrence Hidden Valley Committee will be at the monthly Girl Scout Service Unit Meeting at 7 p.m. Dec. 5 at First Presbyterian Church, 2415 Clinton Parkway. All adult Girl Scout members in the Douglas County region are welcome and invited.
