Emporia State announces Kathryn Cruz-Uribe as finalist for president

Emporia State University has announced that the provost and vice president for Academic Affairs at California State University is the fourth finalist for the school’s presidency.

Kathryn Cruz-Uribe was meeting with visit Emporia and the university campus for a second day Tuesday. The visit includes meetings with campus and community groups.

At California State University in Monterey Bay, Cruz-Uribe is responsible for leading the academic programs of the university, including four colleges and the university library. She serves as second-in-command of the university.

Emporia State is announcing the finalists as their visits are scheduled.
