The Lawrence Police Department continues to investigate an early Sunday morning incident that sent three people to the hospital from suspected drug overdoses.

At about 3:39 a.m., police were dispatched to the 3400 block of Scioto Drive for a medical emergency. When they arrived, the police found two 27 year-old Lawrence men and a 25-year-old Lawrence woman who were unresponsive, according to police reports.

All three were transported to Lawrence Memorial Hospital. They have been treated and released.

Police continue to investigate to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
