Extension and 4-H news for November 5, 2011

Douglas County FCE and Kansas State Research and Extension Family and Consumer Sciences announce their November program “Dried Flowers.” Lisa Nelick, owner of Prairie Harbor Flowers will be presenting. The event will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday in the Dreher Building at the Douglas County Fairgrounds. For more information, call 843-7058.

Kanwaka FCE will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the home of Mary Alice James, 1951 E. 850 Road, Lecompton.

The lesson, “Noodles,” will be given by Margaret Fuston.
