Tucson, Ariz. ? Kansas University sophomore Chris Gilbert shot a 4-over-par 75 in the second round of the Tucson NCAA golf regional and dropped from 38th place to a tie for 53rd.

Gilbert, who qualified for the regional as an individual, shot an opening-round 73 Thursday and has a 148 total. The tournament concludes today.

The top five teams advance to the NCAA Championship, while the top individual not on one of those teams qualifies as well.
