Thunderstorms will develop across central and eastern Kansas late Wednesday evening and into Thursday morning, according to the National Weather Service.
Localized flash flooding and quarter-size hail will be possible with the strongest storms.
The NWS predicts thunderstorms will continue to develop across northeast Kansas Thursday morning and afternoon. Douglas County is under a slight risk for severe storms Thursday.
