Members of Boy Scout Troop 53 of Lawrence attended the Order of the Arrow Induction weekend held April 29-30 at Camp Naish. Scouts earning Ordeal membership were Brett Carey, Natty Hoopes, Spencer Conard, Carson Gilliland, Gabe Mullen, Zach Dixon, Matt Meseke and Ethan Kallenberger, and leaders Mason Gilliland and Jim Kallenberger. Earning Brotherhood membership were Anthony Van Schmus, Adam Auer, Patrick Liston, Ryan Liston, Alex Claybaugh, Matthew Siler, Matthew Mitchell and Cole Overton. Also attending were Arrowmen Sean Morris and Brian Morris, and leaders John Hoopes, Kip Grosshans, Jay Morris, Brett Carey, Mike Shambaugh and Brian Van Schmus.
