Six members of the Kansas University softball team were named Academic All-Big 12, including sophomore Rosie Hull, one of five Big 12 student-athletes with a 4.0 grade-point average, it was announced Thursday by the Big 12 Conference office. Senior Allie Clark, juniors Marissa Ingle and Liz Kocon and sophomores Maggie Hull and Alex Jones joined Rosie Hull on the first team.

Kocon was a second-team honoree in 2009, while the other five Jayhawks are being awarded for the first time in their careers.
