Kansas Bioscience Authority OKs $425,000 for Lawrence’s Pinnacle Technology

A Lawrence company will receive nearly $425,000 from the Kansas Bioscience Authority over three years for a project involving brain and neurological biosensors.

Pinnacle Technology Inc., focuses on biomedical tools for data acquisition in mice and rats. This funded project will seek to measure real-time alcohol levels in the brain.

The KBA grant will support marketing and outreach efforts to go along with an $850,000 grant for the project from the National Institutes of Health.
