KU baseball falls to OU

? Kansas University’s baseball team gave up six unearned runs and committed five errors in an 11-4 setback to No. 10 Oklahoma on Saturday.

The five errors, which led to six OU runs, were a season-high for KU. Kansas has committed nine errors in its previous two games. OU took Friday’s game over Kansas as well, 12-1.

The Jayhawks fell to 22-26 (9-14 Big 12), while the Sooners improved to 34-13 (12-9 Big 12).

Oklahoma has defeated Kansas in seven straight games, dating back to 2009.

KU scored a run in each of the first two innings off an RBI double by Jimmy Waters and an RBI single by Brandon Macias. OU responded with three runs in the bottom of the second, and broke the game open with five runs in the sixth.

Kansas and Oklahoma will play the final game of the series at 1 p.m. Sunday.
