Air Force Airman Michael K. Lindeman graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio.

He is a 2010 graduate of Lawrence High School and the son of Michael Lindeman, Lawrence.

Lt. Sarah Affalter is a 2003 graduate of Free State High School, a 2009 graduate of Kansas State University, and commissioned through Air Force ROTC. Affalter was first assigned to Randolph Air Force Base, San Antonio, where she received her navigator wings. She was then stationed at Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark., to further her training on the C-130. Affalter is now permanently stationed at Pope Army Airfield in Fort Bragg, N.C. She will provide air mobility support for Special Operations and the 82nd Airborne. Affalter will be assigned to the 2nd Airlift Squadron where she will operationally fly on the C-130H2.
