?Scheduled work on a bridge on U.S. Highway 24 in Jefferson County will reduce traffic in both directions on that road to one lane Wednesday.

Flaggers will direct traffic on the bridge, which is about 3.71 miles east of the U.S. Highway 24-59 junction in Jefferson County.

Traffic is scheduled to be affected from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the bridge survey work.

Work should be completed Wednesday, weather permitting.
