The National Weather Service has canceled its tornado watch for Douglas County.

The watch now covers Atchison and Doniphan counties, and areas of northwest Missouri and central and west Iowa.

There is a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 9 p.m. Tuesday. Winds are between 5 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
