Douglas County prosecutors said a Lawrence police officer had to use a Taser to subdue a 46-year-old Lawrence man alleged to have punched an officer in the face early Thursday morning.
Prosecutors filed charges of battery of a law enforcement officer, criminal threat, obstruction, all felonies, and misdemeanor criminal damage to property against David W. Clark. Police were called to Clark’s residence for a disturbance Thursday morning in the 1300 block of Maple Lane.
According to a police report, the officer listed as the battery victim was not injured. Clark appeared via video from the Douglas County Jail Thursday afternoon and judge pro-tem James George set his bond at $15,000 cash or surety.

It's never a good idea to attack a police officer.
Of course there is the exception if a zombie epidemic has happened and you are facing zombie cops. However even in that circumstance, you shouldn't try to engage a zombie if you are able to escape, keeping in mind they usually can't move very fast.

If the LEO keeps muttering "brains, brains, brains" that's a pretty clear sign you're in the presence of a Zombie Cop.

You invoked my name, officer, so here is one of the vast numbers of stories about LPD management that is worthy of noting....
Case hits close to home for officer LPD captain’s daughter on trial for money laundering, distributing crack cocaine
"Because Harmon is a captain in the Lawrence police department and because he is the defendant's father, he has obvious interests in this matter," Vratil wrote in a footnote. "For this reason, and because of clear inconsistencies in his testimony, his testimony is not altogether persuasive."
Harmon also made a transcript of the dispatch call when Bordman shot and killed Sevier, There are many contradictions between his dispatch transcript, police reports, and the testimony that all scream perjury from several LPD. Long history of altering facts to suit his desired outcome.
RIP Gregg Sevier
