Black & Veatch pledges $1M to Kansas universities

March 3, 2011

The engineering, consulting and construction firm Black & Veatch has pledged $1 million in future earnings to support research and development across the university system in Kansas.

A company spokesman said that the exact allocation of the funds had not yet been determined.

The company will work with university representatives in Kansas to develop a structure to determine how funds would be distributed over the next 10 years.

Len Rodman, the company’s chairman, president and CEO, made the announcement this week as the company accepted the Kansas Chamber of Commerce’s Ad Astra award.

And out of the other side of their mouth, they are likely lobbying for tax reductions and loopholes that will cost the state considerably more than that.

Who knows how much they gave to the Chinese Chamber of Commerce (formerly known as the U.S. Chamber of Commerce) as that type of money is secret and doesn't have to be revealed to the prying eyes of the citizens.

1 bribe - Roy Blunt

2 bribe - Jerry Moran

3 bribe - Kevin Yoder

a few Dems here and there - mainly ones who can help B&V get some good Afghanistan contracts paid for by the taxpayers.

(And you wondered why the war goes on and on and on ......)

Mere slander. You see, black and Veatch have money, which is conclusive proof that they are evil. Evil people do only evil things and only for evil reasons, therefore if it looks like a rich person is doing something good, it's always safest to presume (and state) that they are really trying to trick you.

Thank you, B&V. Our university system is significantly strengthened by gifts like yours.
