Decataur, Ill. ? The K.C. Sluggers summer-league baseball team lost to the St. Louis Gamers, 6-5, on Saturday at the Decatur Woodbat Invitational.

Matt Sutliffe led the Sluggers with a home run and an RBI. Jake Vinoverski added a double and an RBI. Shane Willoughby went 2-for-3 with a double, and Troy Willoughby went 2-for-4 with an RBI.

The game was played in front of eight Div. I coaches and 15 college coaches total.

This was the final game for the Sluggers in the invite, as the rest of the games were washed out.
