Lawrence resident Tristan Moody has been selected as one of 150 Twitter followers of NASA to attend the final space shuttle launch in July.

Moody and the other 149 tweeters will interact with NASA shuttle technicians, engineers, astronauts, managers and NASA’s social media team and will view the launch of the shuttle Atlantis from the media area.

Congrats!!! It is amazing seeing a shuttle launch. One piece of advise - don't be overly concerned about getting tons of pictures. It goes up so fast and when I went last year I saw many that only watched through their view finder. Take some shots, but enjoy the whole experience (it's amazing when the sound waves finally hit you).
