Gov. Brownback to tour NE Kansas towns threatened by Missouri River flooding

? Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback is scheduled to tour areas in northeast Kansas threatened by flooding from the Missouri River.

The governor’s office said he and Maj. Gen. Lee Tafanelli, Kansas Adjutant General, will visit Atchison and Doniphan Counties on Monday afternoon.

They are scheduled to meet with local leaders, emergency responders and residents in Atchison and Elwood to discuss how they’re preparing for potential flooding.
