Charges filed against man subdued by Taser May 21

Douglas County prosecutors have filed three charges against a 32-year-old Lawrence man who police had to use a Taser to subdue during a disturbance downtown early May 21.

Michael D. Moore faces two counts of aggravated assault because prosecutors accuse him of showing a gun and knife multiple times to two different people in a threatening manner around 2 a.m. on Massachusetts Street. Moore also faces an obstruction charge for not initially cooperating with officers.
