Third district Congressman Kevin Yoder, R-Kan., will speak at a Lawrence Chamber of Commerce event next week at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

The chamber will play host to a “Conversation with Congressman Kevin Yoder” at 9 a.m. June 10 in the atrium at LMH, 325 Maine.

Yoder, a former state representative from Overland Park, was elected to his first term in Congress in November. The district includes eastern Lawrence, eastern Douglas County, and Johnson and Wyandotte counties.

After a brief presentation Yoder will take questions at the event. The event is open to chamber members and the public. Anyone who wants to attend needs to RSVP by noon June 9 by calling 865-4411 or by sending an email to frontdesk@lawrencechamber.com.
