The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for parts of northern and eastern Kansas, including Douglas County, until 1 a.m. Monday.
Hail one to one-and-a-half inches in diameter, wind gusts up to 80 miles per hour and dangerous lightning are possible in these areas.
