Lecompton Lincoln exhibit ends Sunday

A traveling exhibit chronicling the life and times of Abraham Lincoln that’s been on display for several weeks in Lecompton closes Sunday.

The exhibit, “Abraham Lincoln: A Man of His Time, A Man for All Times,” is a project of the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History and financed by the National Endowment for the Humanities.

The exhibit is on display through Sunday at the Territorial Capital Museum, 640 E. Woodson, Lecompton. The site is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays, and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays. Admission is free.
