Lawrence Police have located a 61-year-old Lawrence woman who had been missing since early Sunday morning.

Police on Sunday afternoon issued a “Silver Alert” for Doris “Helga” Wycoff — who has dementia and Alzheimer’s — after she went missing from her son’s home.

A Lawrence Police spokesman said the woman was found safe in west Lawrence.

Silver Alerts are issued when an at-risk adult is reported missing.
