Wichita ? A 14-year-old girl reported missing from her Wichita home early Wednesday has been found safe.

Police say Katelyn Barrett turned up in suburban Park City, a few miles north of Wichita. No other details were immediately released Wednesday afternoon.

Katelyn left home in Wichita’s Plainview neighborhood shortly after midnight, telling her mother and brother she couldn’t sleep and was going for a walk. KWCH-TV reports the girl was texting with her brother, who became alarmed when he stopped getting responses.

Katelyn had recently moved to Wichita from Minnesota.
