Christine Ohlen Lamont, the daughter of Robert and Gudrun Ohlen of Boone, N.C., formerly of Lawrence, has been promoted to lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Air Force. She is a graduate of Lawrence High School and Kansas University Law School. Her next assignment will be chief of military justice Third Air Force in Ramstein, Germany.
