Douglas County Special Olympics is sponsoring bingo from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Feb. 20 at Douglas County Fairgrounds, 2110 Harper St., Building 21.

Kim Brice, an organizer of the event, said the organization started the fundraiser as something its athletes could play.

Suggested donation is $10 per card, and the game will benefit the Douglas County Jayhawks. Prizes will be given for bingo and the game will conclude with a blackout.

There will also be a concession stand selling pizza, hot dogs and other food items during the fundraiser.
