Another candidate has entered the race for Baldwin City school board.

Chad Christie filed paperwork Wednesday afternoon at the Douglas County Courthouse to become a candidate for the board’s Position No. 3, one now held by Blaine Cone. Christie, 39, lives at 1433 N. 300 Road, about two miles east of U.S. Highway 59 along U.S. Highway 56.

Other positions up for election and their current occupants:

• No. 1, Alison Bauer

• No. 2, Scott Lauribsen

An at-large position with two years remaining on its term also is up for election. That seat is occupied by Joshua Mihesuah; Robin Bayer, an incumbent member of the Baldwin City Council, has filed as a candidate for that seat.

The filing deadline for candidates is noon on Jan. 25.
