If the freezing drizzle will end by eight, why the winter weather advisory until nine?

I didn't even know there was a winter weather advisory, but I was already prepared for icy streets since the city of Lawrence didn't bother cleaning a majority of the streets I travel after the snow this time! Yesterday, 6th street was a complete mess yet 9th street and Crestline were completely clearn. I don't get it.

And by "clearn," I mean CLEAR and CLEAN. lol

Meanwhile, in sunny San Antonio we will be near 80 today. No freezing drizzle! No super slick streets! Oh, and by the way, NO STATE INCOME TAX !!!!!! Come on down!
