A 20-year-old Lawrence man was arrested early Saturday morning on charges of aggravated robbery and obstructing the legal process.

The arrest occurred in the 1100 of Ohio Street about 3 a.m. after a victim reported that two men — armed with a gun and pepper spray — robbed and chased him near the intersection of 11th and Tennessee streets, according to Lawrence police Sgt. Kirk Fultz.

Fultz said that one of the suspects was arrested, while the other got away. Neither the gun nor the pepper spray reportedly used in the robbery were recovered.

The suspect in custody was booked into the Douglas County Jail shortly after 3 a.m.
